Got a little blasting done today sand blasted my strut bar brackets, intake manifold, and my starter. I have to go over them again i missed a few spots but they look alot better than before IMO.

a little before and after pics of the mani

Finally went and picked up my sub and amp cant wait to have a little bump in the trunk again nothing serious just a 10" sub and amp with enough power to push it.

Nice man! I enjoyed reading through this.

Side note* Do you have the Eastwood HotCoat gun? Just curious, cause I bought one and have yet to use it.

I wonder how good it would look if the fender flare was more pronounced? Like an Evo 5

It's gonna be nice with that front bumper on it. Good work.

Yeah i wish it was i thought about getting some fender flares but to my knowledge there arent any made for my car so it would have to be a custom job but i really wanted to make it widebody but oh well ill be happy once it get it all together i parked the car last march and pulled the motor and its been parked ever since. But hopefully itll be done by the summer though.

Nice build, but I was curious why you couldn't use the yellow bumper or why did you put 2 different bumpers together?

Thanks the reason for the different bumpers is mines is a 99 the yellow is for a 01 the top portion where the grill and headlights are are different. I could have used the complete yellow bumper that would mean i would have to swap the complete front end headlights, fenders, and hood. I dont like the 01 headlights i wanted to keep my headlights and grill and i have a Cf hood for the 99 and so that was one of the main reasons for the hybrid bumper. Plus its unique i like to be different.
