Hey guys basically I'm looking for some help to do a retrofit on my g35 headlights. I have both kinds the the projector and reflector. I own fxr's, tsx's, and mini H1's projectors. I have sets of the headlights with the lens already off but I just need help starting the retrofit by figuring out what kind of bracket is needed to be made and just general stuff like that. This is my first retrofit attempted so any kind of help is appreciated.

This is pretty much directed to everyone and anyone that's been involved in any kind of headlight retrofit. I have no problem meeting up with the headlight components. It's actually preferred lol. But overall I just need a p
Ace to start. Thanks guys! Feel free to ask any questions

It depends really on the position where the projector would need to be on the lens . My car i just used silicone and 4 screws , one for each corner .
Im using Tsx projectors/clear lens with a E46 shroud .

Yea see mine has a bracket with 3 screws for the oem projector and all the other projectors have 3 holes drilled for it but they don't match up with the bracket from the oem projector. So I'm kinda looking for advice on how to make a custom bracket for the aftermarket projector to make it fit into the oem bracket you know? I'll try to get some pics to help describe the situation. It's a project I've put on hold for a while cause I've just had no idea on how to do it

Yea pictures would be best . I was also unsure what G35 headlights you had , the 03 or 06
Now i know they are the projected ones .

Well I have both sets. At first I wanted the Clearance strip so I had the 03 reflectors but then I decided to just go with 06 projectors because it'd be easier but I'd have to sacrifice the clearance strip

This is what the oem projector looks like on the 3 mounting bolts

This is the oem headlight bracket without the projector. Just the 3 bolts where it mounts on.

This is with the fxr projector which is bike on so it's most likely the one I'd use

And this is with the tsx projector which I probably won't use cause it's just a low beam and I'd lose the high beam

As you can see I need to figure out a way to be able to mount that fxr projector onto the 3 bolt bracket somehow and idk how I'd be able to do that. I was thinking of an aluminum bracket that kind of extends the holes from the fxr projector to reach the bolts on the bracket kind of like the oem projector where they look like little arms that extend to the bolts

I would build a bracket to each bolt , actually looks very easy to work with !
