I have a 1990 240sx, i just finished replaceing the entire head and head gasket but now my car wont run. it turns over and cranks but it will not start. even with starting fluid it will not run correctly. does anybody have any opinions that can help me diagnose what is wrong? thanks

yea i would take off valve cover recheck ur timing marks on cams/crank,,,,,also make sure ur at TDC on compression stroke cilynder 1 and that your distributor rotor is pointing to ur no.1 spark plug wire

i took the valve cover off again and everything is at TDC but it still will not run. the distributor and the harmonic balancer and the cam gear all are where they are suposed to be.

make sure u have spark and fuel aswell. if u havent done that yet

yeah i have spark. I think it has something to do with the fuel system regulator or maybe some missing vacume lines or even the fuel pump. i already replaced the fuel filter and also redid the timing.

Check the wiper and blinker fluids. Should be a reservoir hidden behind your tailights; might have to remove them. Good luck, bro.
